3-1 Loss Deepens Westwood Funk
|
Richland Rails pitcher Morris Faulkner was in fine form, leading his team past the Westwood Sixshooters, 3-1. Dave Sandoval got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. Westwood, now 3-14, continues its dreadful start.
Don Thomas was 1-3 with a double against the Sixshooters. With the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that put Richland in front, 2-1.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Thomas said.
