The Boston Patriots did just enough to sneak past the Toledo Stingers, 3-2, at Dunkin Donuts Park. Boston pitcher Eric Buchanan, in particular, had a standout performance. Buchanan, now 7-5, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 6, walking 4, and allowing 2 runs. With the win, Boston pushed its record to 39-31.
