The Casper Ghosts wiggled past the Minnesota Loons, 9-8, in 10 innings at The Graveyard. The win was highlighted by the performance of Casper pitcher Kanzaburo Ichikawa. Casper reliever Wesley Edwards picked up the win to move to 1-2. Luis Tobías suffered the loss. Minnesota falls to 13-6.

Casper got a clutch hit from Scotty Pike. The catcher jolted a 3-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"This place was rocking at the end," Ichikawa said.
