Dolphins Stop Farmers, 4-1

Bob Smithley pitched a gem to lead Pine Island to victory over the Lancaster Farmers, 4-1. The setback makes the Farmers 8-12.
Rafael Heathershaw had a big 2-run home run for the Dolphins in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Pine Island leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from David Cochrane and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dolphins ahead, 4-1.
"Winning is always a team effort," Smithley said after the game.
