McClure Helps Sixshooters Defeat Whales, 13-6
The Westwood Sixshooters topped the Virginia Beach Whales, 13-6, in M3L Double A action at Sixshooters Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Westwood shortstop Fred McClure. Westwood has a record of 7-13.

The Sixshooters benefited from an error in the bottom of the first inning. Westwood was leading 2-0 when David Hunt hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Westwood in front, 4-0.

"Glad to get this win," said McClure. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."
