Northville pitcher Zhi Ling did his part in helping his team beat the Tacoma Fur Traders, 4-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The save was credited to Patrick Wilder, his 3rd. At 11-10, Northville is in 7th place in the Menard's AA.
Setiawan Pakpahan contributed to the Northville win with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
Tacoma manager Jeff Rutherford said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
