The Toledo Saboteurs defeated the Casper Ghosts, 10-2, in part because of shortstop Qi-chang Chia. Chia went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Saboteurs. Arthur Tidwell earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. He upped his record to 2-0. The winning streak has now reached 7 games for the Saboteurs.

In the top of the eighth, Chia put his team in front with his 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which came against Jesús Solís, made it 3-2, Toledo.
