Neil Smith was terrific for the Asheville Highlanders in his team's 4-0 triumph over the Ottawa Fat Cats. His performance earned Smith rave reviews. The Highlanders have now won 4 straight.

Dong-hua Sima had a big run-scoring triple for the Highlanders in the bottom of the second inning. With Asheville leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Donald Hamm, who is tied for 9th in the 3AA in wins with 2, and swatted a triple to center. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Highlanders ahead, 2-0.

"Nice to keep stacking the wins," said Smith.
