Pitcher Jake Blackmon was sensational for the Westwood Sixshooters in his team's 6-1 triumph over the Lancaster Farmers. Blackmon earned the win. Lancaster is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 7 in a row.

Westwood second baseman Júlio Mendoza contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 21st hit of the season and put the Sixshooters ahead, 3-0.

"I thought we were prepared," Lancaster manager Young-hwan Hyon said after the game. "I thought we'd be more competitive out there."
