The Lancaster Farmers defeated the Arizona Javelina, 9-0. First Baseman Ben Crosby deserved a large share of the credit. Crosby was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Farmers. Jeffrey Young, the winner, improved to 2-4. He held Arizona to no runs on 5 hits over 6.2 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. The setback makes Arizona 15-9.

With Lancaster leading 2-0 in the top of the sixth, Crosby hit a fastball from Takakazu Ishihara for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Farmers ahead, 4-0.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Crosby told the Lancaster News.
