The Casper Ghosts topped the Ottawa Fat Cats, 5-2, in M3L Double A action at The Graveyard. The game was highlighted by the performance of Casper pitcher Kanzaburo Ichikawa. The winner was Ichikawa. He threw 7.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Donald Newman. Júlio Pérez sewed up the save, his 1st.

Casper went in front, 3-2, on Juan Vega's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Vega hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Ottawa pitcher Donald Newman visibly perturbed.

"No weaving and bobbing. Kanzaburo came right after them," said Casper manager Jerry Duke.

At 14-10, the Ghosts claim 4th place in the Menard's AA.
