The Igloo played host to some dramatic action.

The Squirrel Hill Pierogis could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Ray Mitrou into a win. Instead, the Billings Polar Bears prevailed, 4-3, in 11 innings. Mitrou threw 5.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The first-place Polar Bears have a one-game lead in their division.

The Polar Bears got a clutch hit from first baseman Jeffrey Houston. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Polar Bears.

"Walking a team off at the end -- there's no greater feeling," said Houston.
