Banks has 3 hits to Fuel Blue Demons Offense
The Mexico City Blue Demons topped the Hollywood Shredders, 9-2, with catcher Artie Banks playing a big role. Banks went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 5 for the Blue Demons in the win. The victory puts Mexico City at 28-43.

With Mexico City leading 3-1 in the top of the fifth, Banks hit a fastball from Bill Owens for a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Blue Demons ahead, 7-1.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Banks told the Mexico City News.
