Ottawa turned a good effort from starter Gary Joseph into a win over the Westwood Sixshooters at Sixshooters Stadium. The Fat Cats won the game, 3-2. Picking up the save was 26-year old right-handed pitcher Donald Hamm. Their 15-11 record puts the Fat Cats third in the Menard's AA.
Dimacali Lontok, who is tied for 7th in the 3AA in total bases with 53, had a direct impact on the outcome. Lontok contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Ottawa up, 2-1.
Lontok called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
