The Toledo Saboteurs got a magnificent performance from pitcher Joe Preston, who muffled the Pine Island offense en route to a tight, 3-1 Saboteurs win at Goodyear Hanger Dome. Toledo is in first place in the Menard's AA with a record of 17-10.

Arturo Garza's at-bat in the top of the sixth inning was a big one for Toledo. Coming to bat with no one out, runners on 2nd and 3rd and Toledo trailing 1-0, the left fielder hit a run-scoring single.

"What we get, we earn," Preston told the Toledo Herald.
