Ottawa pitcher Thomaz Sedas did his part in helping his team defeat the Northville Eclipse, 4-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. Sedas got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 4 hits and walked 4 over 5 innings. He allowed no runs. The second-place Fat Cats have won 4 in a row.

Szeto Liu had a big 2-run double for the Fat Cats in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Ottawa leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher David Dickey and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Fat Cats ahead, 4-0.

"I really like what we did out there today," Liu said after the game.
