Patriots Lose By a Run at Ft. Worth
|
Ft. Worth beat Boston at The Cattle Pen, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to first baseman David Robinson. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Jeff Forrest was credited with the save for Ft. Worth, his 11th of the season. With this game in the books, Ft. Worth is 25-46, Boston 41-30.
The Cattlemen got a big at-bat from third baseman Mario Arévalo. For the game, Arévalo went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Ft. Worth a 5-3 lead.
