Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Hops
Thanks in large part to second baseman Claudio Mejía, the Yakima Hops clipped the Westwood Sixshooters, 6-5, in 10 innings. Mejía went 2-3 with 2 home runs. Yakima reliever Manny Cruz picked up the win to move to 1-3. Peter Dupree suffered the loss. Yakima currently is in 9th place in the Menard's AA at 14-15.

The Hops relied on center fielder Teodoro Testavallia for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Mejía said in his postgame press conference.
