Loons Take Home 3-1 Win Over Lancaster
The Minnesota Loons got a magnificent performance from pitcher Jeff Benson, who muffled the Lancaster offense en route to a tight, 3-1 Loons win at Loony Bin. Minnesota is now 21-9, Lancaster 14-16.

Phil Maddox cracked a home run off David Cochrane in the bottom of the third. His solo blast put the Loons on top, 1-0. In all, Maddox had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

"Every loss stings," said Lancaster manager Young-hwan Hyon. "This one is no exception."
