The Minnesota Loons welcomed the Ottawa Fat Cats to an afternoon game at Nationals Park.

Mac Walker propelled his team to victory over the Ottawa Fat Cats. The final score was 6-3, Minnesota. The winning pitcher was Walker, now 2-0. He tossed 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 3. Luis Tobías earned the save for Minnesota, his 11th.

With one out in the top of the sixth, Leo Moore barreled up a cutter from Thomaz Sedas. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Loons in front, 4-0.

"Enjoyed this one," Moore told the Minnesota Citizen. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The second-place Loons are now 22-11, the Fat Cats 23-10.
