Peter Faddeev did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to spare the Casper Ghosts an extra-inning, 7-6 loss to the Westwood Sixshooters at Sixshooters Stadium. Faddeev went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Manny Rodríguez, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-2. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. The win puts the Sixshooters at 11-22, while the Ghosts drop to 22-11.

The decisive moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Westwood. That's when Leroy Neagle hit a run-scoring double off 28-year old left-handed pitcher Kanzaburo Ichikawa to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Neagle.
