Westwood starter Jake Blackmon pitched well against the Minnesota Loons at Loony Bin. The left-hander led his team to a win, 5-3, in 10 innings. Peter Dupree snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-3 on the season. Luis Tobías suffered the loss. The 10th-place Sixshooters sport a record of 13-22.

This game was not decided until Leroy Neagle came to bat in the top of the tenth. With the bases loaded and one out, the Westwood right fielder hit a sacrifice fly. The Sixshooters took the lead, 4-3.

"When you have a good rhythm and good flow, it's nice to just go out there and pound the strike zone with confidence," said Blackmon.
