Saboteurs Fight for 6-5 Win
|
The Toledo Saboteurs dealt the Ottawa Fat Cats a 6-5 loss at Toledo Backyard Park. Ángel Segura was the star on offense. He was 3-5 with a triple and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI. The win boosted Toledo to 23-12.
Segura had a game-changing triple in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-0 fastball from Jed Banks, he banged a bases-clearing triple to center, giving the Saboteurs a 6-3 lead. It was the 1st triple of the year for Segura.
"It was sure nice to get the win but there's a lot of baseball left," Segura after the game.
