Fat Cats Pick Up 8-7 Win
Arturo Garza did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Toledo Saboteurs from being beaten, 8-7, to the Ottawa Fat Cats at Toledo Backyard Park. Garza was 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Trevor Park earned save number 1 this season. The Fat Cats are now 17-19.

Ottawa used the timely hitting of Ron Mitchell to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Fat Cats on top, 8-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Jorge Carranza said.
