The Billings Polar Bears rode a solid performance from 24-year-old starting pitcher Hideki Takahashi to a win, beating the Lancaster Farmers, 4-2, at The Igloo. In 5.2 innings, Takahashi surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. Michael Green earned his 10th save, after closing out the game.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Polar Bears grabbed the lead when Salvador Guillén rapped a two-out home run. Billings was trailing 2-1, when Guillén hit a 3-run home run off Dave Jones to put his team in front, 4-2.

"We're playing like we're capable of," said Billings manager César Guerra.

The Billings win streak is now 4 games.
