Cangrejos Fantasmas Rally to Nose Past Yakima
Getting a good performance from third baseman Emílio Gonzáles, the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas defeated the Yakima Hops, 7-6. Gonzáles slugged 2 home runs for the Cangrejos Fantasmas. The win went to Dwayne Castillo in relief, making him now 3-0. Manny Cruz took the loss for Yakima. Carlos Hana got credit for the save for Chesapeake. It was his 8th of the year.

Guy Parkinson's at-bat in the top of the seventh inning was a big one for Chesapeake. Coming to bat with two out, runners on 1st and 3rd and Chesapeake trailing 6-5, the right fielder reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run.

"Nothing is scripted in this game," said Parkinson.

Chesapeake is now 22-16.
