In a tight tilt between the Yakima Hops and the Minnesota Loons, Tanner Davis was the deciding factor. The Yakima right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Clifford Tracy wrapped it up, recording his 2nd save. The 9th-place Hops go to 18-20.
Davis, the winning pitcher, raised his record to 3-3. In 8 innings of work, Davis gave up 1 run on 2 hits, while racking up 11 Ks. He kept the Loons punchless, offensively.
