|
The Casper Ghosts picked up a win at Nationals Park, knocking off the Ottawa Fat Cats, 5-2. Starting pitcher William Maxwell played a key role in the triumph. Their 20-19 record puts the Ghosts 5th in the Menard's AA.
Bastian Booger's at-bat in the top of the seventh was significant, coming with a runner on 2nd and the game tied, 2-2. The Casper designated hitter hit a run-scoring single off Dan George to put the Ghosts up.
"William's good, period," said Casper manager Jerry Duke.
