Dolphins Grind Out 2-1 Win
The Pine Island Dolphins got a magnificent performance from pitcher Jesús Costa, who muffled the Minnesota offense en route to a tight, 2-1 Dolphins win at Goodyear Hanger Dome. Pine Island is 21-20 and Minnesota, with the loss, 25-16.

The Dolphins got a big at-bat from right fielder Jesús Longoria. For the game, Longoria went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Pine Island a 2-1 lead.

"Jesús's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said Pine Island manager Alfonso Dolton.
