New Orleans used a superb performance from starting pitcher Jesús Ramírez to down the Mexico City Blue Demons, 6-1. The 4th-place Voodoo sport a record of 39-34.

Ramírez was dominant for New Orleans. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits, while racking up 9 strikeouts. He threw 98 pitches over 8.1 innings in the contest.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Ramírez told the New Orleans Bulletin. "It's as simple as that."
