Ghosts center fielder Matt Banks had his way with Squirrel Hill pitching at The Graveyard and mauled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Pierogis ruined his great day by toppling the Ghosts, 13-9.

"I had a great day, but you've got to give Squirrel Hill credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits."

"Oh, we noticed what Banks did today," Pierogis skipper Ben Cooper said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him."

Matt Banks hit a solo-shot off José Sandoval in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Chris Barnes in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
