Portsider Helps Northville to 3-2 Win
|
Starting pitcher Carl Rogers was a major factor in the 3-2 Northville Eclipse triumph over the Yakima Hops. Northville now sports a record of 26-19.
Rogers, a native of Rancho Mirage, California, was dealing all game. He kept Yakima hitters off-balance, while giving the Eclipse 8 quality innings. Rogers threw 106 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 10.
"Carl was pumping the zone," said Northville manager Daniel Katz.
