A good performance from designated hitter John Gotaas helped the Northville Eclipse defeat the Yakima Hops, 6-0. Gotaas went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Eclipse. Umberto Erkelens picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-1. Jesse Martin was tagged with the loss. The 6th-place Eclipse are 24-21.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth when Gotaas hit a 2-run double. It thrust the Eclipse into the lead, 2-0.
