The Casper Ghosts beat the Yakima Hops, 7-3, at Hops Park. Casper third baseman Hunter Chase, who leads the 3AA with a .445 on-base percentage, collected 3 singles and 1 double with 2 RBI. Casper pitcher Kanzaburo Ichikawa earned the win, hiking his record to 7-2. José Mecedone suffered the loss. Wesley Edwards nailed down his 4th save.

Casper used a timely hit from Bastian Booger to get the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Ghosts ahead, 5-3. It might've been his only hit, but it did the trick.

Afterward, Yakima manager Juan Valéncia said: "We've hit a rough patch."

With the win, the Ghosts improved to 25-21.
