Shredders Walk It Off for 39th Win of Season
The Hollywood Shredders locked up a win at The Hollywood Bowl, knocking off the Seattle Rocketeers, 6-4. On the mound for Hollywood was right-hander Alex Thompson. He played a major role in the triumph. The winner was Vic Byrd in relief. His record improves to 1-5. José Correa took the loss. Hollywood, at 39-34, holds down 4th place in the Premier League.

Hollywood got a knockout punch from Xiao-gang Kong. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Said Thompson: "What's not to like about a walk-off win?"
