Westwood Claims 8-6 Victory
|
David Hunt powered the Westwood Sixshooters to a win over the Tacoma Fur Traders. The final score was 8-6. The Westwood center fielder was a force to be reckoned with. He banged out 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Jorge Félix came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 2-0. Peter Dupree closed the game out for Westwood, earning his 12th save.
Westwood took the lead on Hunt's 5th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which came against Luis Colón in the top of the seventh, made the score 8-6, Westwood.
