Lancaster right fielder Jesús Ibarra picked up 4 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas, 6-5. Leland Wood claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. His record stands at 1-0. With the win over Chesapeake, the Farmers improved to 22-29.
Had Ibarra not come through in the top of the eighth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Ibarra hit a run-scoring single. The Farmers took the lead, 6-5, and never looked back.
