Edwards Now 6-2 After Subduing Eclipse
|
Starting pitcher William Edwards had a solid game. He was a big reason the Minnesota Loons throttled the Northville Eclipse, 4-1. The Loons raised their record to 32-19.
Edwards, the winner, is now 6-2. In 7.1 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 2 hits, while collecting 10 Ks. He essentially shut down the Northville offense.
"William was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Minnesota manager Calvin Beck.
