Fat Cats Suffer 4-2 Home Defeat
|
The Barton Springs Blues knocked off the Ottawa Fat Cats, 4-2, in M3L Double A action at Nationals Park. Barton Springs pitcher and Libertyville, Illinois, native Ryan Glover had an outstanding performance. Barton Springs has now won 4 in a row.
Barton Springs used the hitting of Shu-yen Fu to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Blues on top, 3-2. For the game, Fu had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
"I like our mindset right now," said Barton Springs manager Francisco Pelaez.
