Sosa gets 3 RBI to Ignite Farmers Offense
|
Lancaster shortstop Brandon Sosa had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Ottawa Fat Cats, 7-2. Liam Fitzgerald earned the save for Lancaster, his 6th. Ottawa now owns a losing streak of 9 games.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the seventh inning, but Liam Fitzgerald didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Ottawa trailing 4-2, Fitzgerald retired Steve Pérez to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Fitzgerald, with a wink.
