Boston Earns 2-1 Win
|
Boston right-hander Jim Everhart helped his team edge Baltimore by the score of 2-1. Everhart kept the opposing lineup in check. The slumping Bullets have lost 8 straight.
Chong-hun Chon provided a timely hit. The Boston right fielder delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Patriots on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
"We're not going to feel sorry for ourselves," said Baltimore skipper Chris Schubert. "Wouldn't do any good."
