Ghosts Lose Late to Farmers
The Farmers grabbed a win, 5-2, at The Graveyard, overcoming a fine effort from Casper pitcher Wesley Edwards. Edwards went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. Brian Ingram earned the save for Lancaster, his 14th of the year. With the win, Lancaster has a record of 31-23. Casper falls to 22-32.

Lancaster used the timely hitting of Culley Dring to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Farmers on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I thought we played a nice game," Dring told the Lancaster Observer. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
