Ottawa Gets 7-4 Win
|
Ottawa right-hander Nick Lyons pitched his team to victory over the Lancaster Farmers at Farmers Field. The final score was 7-4. Lyons, now 3-3, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 1 hit, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing no runs. Thomaz Sedas notched his 2nd save of the season.
The Fat Cats got an important contribution from catcher Harley Chandler, who in the top of the third hit a sinker to left for a 2-run double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Fat Cats ahead, 6-0.
"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Lancaster manager Young-hwan Hyon.
The Fat Cats win now puts them at 24-30.
