The Hollywood Shredders rode a solid performance from 36-year-old starting pitcher Bob Kelso to a win, beating the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 4-2, at Wolf Den in Vancouver. Huibert Illidge picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-5. Doug Owen, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2048 draft, was tagged with the loss. Arturo Gutiérrez earned the save for Hollywood, his 22nd of the year.

Hollywood took advantage of an error in the top of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 2-2, when José Vera hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Shredders in front, 3-2.

Vera attributed the win to his team's "collective resolve."

Hollywood is now 41-34. Vancouver is 31-44.
