The Hollywood Shredders picked up a win at Thunder Field, courtesy of Chris Johnston. The right-hander helped his team stop the Toronto Thunder, 1-0. Mark Sims earned save number 14 this season. The Shredders are now 35-40.

Hollywood needed the clutch hitting of Soo-keun Yi to notch the win. The third baseman hammered a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Shredders on top, 1-0. For the game, Yi had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Johnston attributed the win to his team's "concerted effort."
