Casper beat Minnesota at Loony Bin, escaping with a 5-4 win. The win in large part was due to second baseman Walt Hill. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Getting the save was Gerald Mathews, his 4th. The Ghosts improved to 29-30.

In the top of the seventh, the Ghosts took the lead, 5-3, when 25-year old left fielder Bastian Booger grounded out, driving in 1 run.
