Dolphins Win, 6-4, Over Lancaster

The Pine Island Dolphins knocked off the Lancaster Farmers, 6-4, in M3L Double A action at Farmers Field. Pine Island pitcher and Bonifay, Florida, native Jerry Scott had an outstanding performance. Marcus Lucas got the save, the 5th for him this season. The triumph puts Pine Island at 31-29 for the season.
Glenn Page had a big 2-run home run for the Dolphins in the top of the second inning. With Pine Island leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a slider from 21-year old left-handed pitcher David Cochrane and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Dolphins on top, 3-0.
"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Scott after the game.
