Eclipse 3-2 Victors Over Casper
|
Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Northville Eclipse got the win.
Northville turned a good effort from starter Jason García into a win over the Casper Ghosts at Old-Timers Park. The final score was 3-2. Joe Roberts was credited with the save for Northville, his 4th of the season.
Had John Gotaas not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Gotaas hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Eclipse.
"Jason did a heck of a job," said Northville manager Daniel Katz.
The Eclipse, at 34-28, sit in 4th place in the Menard's AA.
