Hops Need Extra Frames to Get Past Ghosts
The Yakima Hops topped the Casper Ghosts, 6-3, in 10 innings at The Graveyard. The game was highlighted by the performance of Yakima pitcher José Mecedone. Yakima occupies 7th place in the Menard's AA at 32-34.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 21-year old right fielder Bartolo Vásquez. Vásquez had a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Hops ahead, 4-3. For the game, Vásquez had 1 double and 2 singles in 6 at-bats.
