Serrano Slugs Sixshooters to 5-1 Win
|
The Westwood Sixshooters used the hitting of right fielder Santiago Serrano to subdue the Lancaster Farmers, 5-1. For the game, Serrano was 3-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Westwood is now 28-39.
Westwood took a 5-1 lead on Serrano's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Mike Nelson in the top of the sixth, propelled Westwood to the win.
In postgame remarks, Serrano said: "To all who've been doubting my effort -- I hope they saw this game."
