Farmers Get One-Run Win at Gwinnett
Gwinnett got a terrific performance from designated hitter Zico Point du Jour, Jr., but it wasn't enough to beat the Lancaster Farmers. Lancaster won the Experimental Stadium contest, 1-0. Point du Jour, Jr. threw 8.1 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Stephen Wynn, now 2-3, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. The 11th-place Farmers improved to 24-44.

Kenny Simpson had a direct impact on the outcome. Simpson contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to put Lancaster up, 1-0.

"No time for flexing," said Simpson. "It's always one game at a time."
