Patriots No Match for Burgess, Shredders in 10-0 Thumping
In an outstanding mound performance, Hollywood Shredders starter Dustin Burgess fired a complete-game shutout against the Boston Patriots at The Hollywood Bowl.

Burgess was the key to the 10-0 Hollywood win. The 24-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 4 hits and 2 walks he allowed.

"4 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout."
