The Casper Ghosts beat the Westwood Sixshooters, 9-5, at Sixshooters Stadium. Casper right fielder Darrel Baker had an outstanding performance. He went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Marvin Johnson earned the win for Casper. He lasted 6.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 6-6. The Ghosts now have a record of 36-33.
In the first inning, Baker had a 3-run home run for Casper. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Ghosts on top, 3-0.
"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Baker.
