Nelson Bennett never let Squirrel Hill get something going. The Pine Island right-hander commanded his changeup in pitching the Dolphins to a 1-0 win. The Dolphins raised their record to 26-44.

The Dolphins liked what they saw from Bennett. The 22-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Pierogis to no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 6.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Bennett said.
