Casper Stymied by Lancaster, 2-1

Fans watched the Lancaster Farmers and the Casper Ghosts fight to the finish.
In a low-scoring affair between the Lancaster Farmers and the Casper Ghosts, pitcher Jeff Ricks was the difference between victory and defeat. The Lancaster left-hander earned kudos in the 2-1 Farmers win. Ricks, the winner, moves to 8-2. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 1 walk. Ahamyati Tikku finished the game for Lancaster and earned his 8th save.
Sean Doyle broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the fifth with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Farmers in front, 2-1. For the game, Doyle drove in one run.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Lancaster manager Young-hwan Hyon.
With the win, Lancaster has a record of 41-30. Casper falls to 34-37.
