Chong-hun Chon was a vital contributor to the 8-3 Boston victory over Hollywood. The Patriots right fielder was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The save was credited to Vic Byrd, his 1st. With the win, Boston goes to 5-3.

Chon contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Boston in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-2, Chon took a sinker from Jack Hill and stroked the home run to right. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Patriots to leap in front, 4-3.

Boston manager Brian Fahie commended his team for "putting the pedal to the metal."
